Beutolomäus discovers that Ruprecht calculates the children's wishes with his supercomputer 143. Only the children's genuine heartfelt wishes fill the heart of the Christmas world and thus keep the faith in Christmas alive. But Ruprecht's wishes poison the heart of Christmas. Breathless, Beutolomäus asks the elves for help. Together they have to put an end to Ruprecht's doings. But the elves do not believe Beutolomäus.
