Max & Maestro

Eleven-year-old Max dreams of becoming a musician. He plays in a hip-hop band and his father was once a rap musician. By chance, Max meets the famous star pianist and conductor Daniel Barenboim. He tells him that he has perfect pitch and offers him piano practice lessons. What will his father and friends say when he learns classical music? Max and his friends Mau and Leon have a hip-hop band, the Boombastic Ninjas. The advertising posters for their first big gig are already up all over town. But not everyone is concentrating on their work. Max can't get the melody of Bach's prelude out of his head, which he heard in Maestro Barenboim's house when he wanted to repeat his football, which fell into the famous conductor's garden, of all places. Now Max is in a dilemma. On the one hand, he is drawn to classical music, on the other hand, he is afraid that his friends will then leave him out.
